On Saturday the 29th of March, 2003, The Glasgow Games Group ran its first official Demonstration game, of Stone Circle Games' .

These pictures are taken from the day. Have a look, but be warned, some of them are not for the faint-hearted!

The basic scenario was a Rescue/Capture. In the middle of the board, in the red ruin, surrounded by barricades, are a gang of Mercenaries with a captured Samba Garasu Shiko-Me assassin.Their plan was to ransom him back to the local Yakuza mob, but their plan has gone wrong. Instead, the Samba Garasu have arrived in force, to rescue their comrade. Worse still, gangs from the other three factions have gotten word of this, and have arrived to take the unfortunate assissn prisoner, and conduct unspeakable tortures on him.

The players were each in command of one of the factions. The forces consisted of one of each blister pack available for each faction - 8 models (or 7 for the Guan Zhong - the huge Ju Bi demon comes singly in a blister). The objective was to move into base contact with the prisoner, and make off with him, to their home table edge.

Later in the same game. One of George's Undead hunters is about to leap the barrier, while Hardy's demonic troops enter the building. The Guan Zhong won this game. The Ju Bi was fast enough to make a quick getaway, and powerful enough to crush anyone in its path.

In the second game, all four factions participated. Here, the Sing Yi break through the barricades from the top of the shot, while the prisoner can be seen cowering behind the ladder, behind the Mercenary in bomber jacket. The Guan Zhong can be seen through the top storey window, as a Mercenary lines up a shot with his shotgun.

The final game of the day. Remarkably, this what Andy B looks like without beer! Like the first game, this one pitted the Long huang against the Guan Zhong, and again the Guan Zhong were victorous, with the assisstance of the Ju Bi.
